Al Wadi – Designed as a traditional tanoor to cook authentic Shuwa, Mandi, Ouzi, and Madfoon, while also serving as a multifunctional cooker for a wide variety of meals from around the world — all in one compact, portable unit.
This sturdy and portable oven is ideal for camping and outdoor adventures. It can cook traditional shuwa and mandi with wood, and thanks to our patent-pending technology, the gas feature keeps the oven warm for several hours while the tanoor remains completely sealed, producing tender, flavourful results every time.
Al Wadi also cooks a variety of other meals with charcoal or gas, individually or in combination. For instance, gas can be used to ignite the charcoal and preheat the oven in just 5 minutes. It can BBQ, grill, smoke, bake, roast, and fry with ease. The optional smart temperature controller automates charcoal cooking via smartphone and notifies you when your food is ready.
Cooks up to 4 chickens and a pot of rice (6 chickens without the pot), or up to 7 kg of shuwa.
Al Wadi offers three cooking options:
Wood – Ideal for traditional dishes like shuwa, mandi, ouzi, or madfoon. It locks in moisture and enhances flavor, and with Al Wadi’s proprietary gas heating system, it maintains consistent heat when it’s completely sealed with wood inside. Additionally, you can smoke and open grill with wood.
Charcoal – Excellent for baking, roasting, smoking, and grilling, delivering rich, smoky flavors. Add wood chips to enhance the smoky flavours. Manually control the temperature within the oven or automate your cooking from a smartphone with the optional Inkbird smart controller, which maintains precise temperature and alerts you when the meat is done.
Gas – Offers flexibility for baking, roasting, smoking, and open grilling. It also rapidly heats the oven or ignites wood with little to no smoke, allowing for quick and clean starts. Our proprietary gas system also keeps the tanoor warm when it is completely sealed.
